Guest Speaker - Bradley Wilcott MBA, CPA, CMA, CBV, CFF

He has been a professional accountant for almost 15 years, specializing in economic damage quantification for 11 years, He was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and is a graduate of Saint Mary's University in Halifax Nova Scotia. If Brad is not working away on spreadsheets he is spending time with his three kids whom are all under 5 years old (he's busy :) ).

Education Topic: Cyber attacks (e.g. ransomware, privacy breaches, etc.) continue to trend upwards in terms of being one of the largest business insurance risks, even ahead of property damage. Bradley Wilcott from MDD Forensic Accountants will explore how these cyber events trigger business interruption loss, how they differ from “traditional” property claims and common issues that arise when calculating the economic damages. A great opportunity for those who currently handle cyber claims as well as a good introduction to anyone interested in the cyber policies and claims.
